Horizon Energy Group's Aquaheat New Zealand Limited is pleased to advise that on Friday 01 July 2022, the business, and assets of Emerson Fire Protection Limited (Emerson Fire) were acquired by Aquaheat New Zealand Limited.

As a result, existing service contract agreements (including the customers' relationship with Emerson Fire Protection Limited) have been transferred on 01 July 2022 to Aquaheat New Zealand Limited.

The acquisition of the business and assets of Emerson Fire is part of the Group's strategy to expand the capability of the Wellington Region Fire Protection operations and further complement Aquaheat's national service and installation operations.

Steve Larkin, the owner of Emerson Fire, and his staff transferred to Aquaheat on 01 July 2022. Steve will continue to be the point of contact for customers on a day-to-day basis. Being part of Aquaheat will give Steve and his team access to a greater resource pool with Aquaheat having over 40 staff specialising in the delivery of Fire Protection services in the Wellington region. The acquisition of Emerson Fire will complement Aquahea's current Fire Protection operation expanding our service base in the region.
