Currently under construction, the new University of Canterbury Regional Science and Innovation Centre will create a hub for Canterbury's science and innovation network in modern state-of-the-art facilities that encourage collaborative teaching, learning and research.
With a total project budget of $216 million, the new centre will provide accommodation for the College of Science, along with an unprecedented resource for the Canterbury region.
The first building, due for completion in 2017, includes specialist teaching and research laboratories for physics, astronomy, chemistry, geology, geography and biological sciences.Back to Education
