Aquaheat Facility Services limited are one of the leading air-conditioning and Facility Services businesses in New Zealand, operating nationwide. Our Auckland Service Team has an established customer portfolio with some of the largest and industry leading commercial properties within Auckland.

As a result of a strong growth and demand from our clients we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our highly regarded Auckland Service team.

The purpose of the role is to support the Regional Service Manager in building profitable and lasting relationships with all our key clients.  You will be required to ensure that all services e.g. planned preventative maintenance, reactive and project work completed under the scope of our contract.  Ensuring our service provision is meeting or exceeding standards we have set and that we are providing an effective service to all our clients with all contractual obligations being achieved.

The role will be operating under high pressure and dealing with conflicting priorities as well as the needs of multiple stakeholders.  The position therefore requires the individual to plan, organise, and priorities their work in order to meet strict deadlines and provide timely and accurate information to all stakeholders.

Our clients and stakeholders are extremely important to us and we need someone who understands the environment that we operate in.  You will be a highly polished service professional with proven experience within the facility services sector with a client facing focus in commercial and industrial environments.  We are looking for someone who has a genuine belief in providing excellent customer service with a practicable attitude while highly motivated, ambitious and has the ability to maintain standards with commitment to succeed.

The person we are seeking will process the following attributes:

  • Have the ability to build excellent business relationships with clients and all relevant parties providing a responsive, friendly service, ensuring contract deliverables and KPI targets are met at all times.
  • Be able to work closely with clients to determine short and long-term priorities, develop solutions and plan for changing requirements.
  • Be able to develop financial and business plans to monitor expenditure and performance against budget.
  • Be able to provide long term assessment management plans to assist our clients with the development of their long term capital expenditure requirements.
  • Exceptional planning, organising and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Have the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Be well presented and have a high degree of self-motivation
